Contact Hours: 1.0 Course Description: This module includes the normal and abnormal findings of a respiratory assessment. It also reviews accessory muscle use and potential causes for various adventitious lung sounds. Course Objectives:List the four key categories of a general infant respiratory assessment
Differentiate the typical and atypical findings in a infant respiratory assessment
Describe what is meant by accessory muscle use and the importance of air entry in the infant This continuing nursing education activity was approved by the PA State Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.
