Contact Hours: 1.0 Course Description: This module includes the purpose of growth measurement as well as the meaning of percentiles, upward/downward shifts, and constitutional growth delays. We also discuss how to use the standardized growth charts published by the CDC, the variables measured, and how steady growth might be achieved. Differentiate constitutional growth delay and failure to thrive
Describe what is meant by upward and downward shifts in pediatric growth
Explain how often we would measure and plot growth results using a standardized growth chart This continuing nursing education activity was approved by the PA State Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.
