Contact Hours: 1.9 Course Description: This module provides an overview of the components of a basic cardiovascular assessment, including normal and abnormal parameters, assessment techniques, and documentation requirements. Course Objectives:Explain the fundamental components of a basic cardiovascular assessment
Differentiate between hypertension and hypotension
Identify key questions to ask the patient
Describe the role of various assistive cardiac devices
Discuss tips in documenting your daily cardiovascular assessment This continuing nursing education activity was approved by the PA State Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.
