Contact Hours: 1.7 Course Description: This module discusses the principles of cardiac output, preload, afterload, and contractility as well as the three stages of shock and their clinical manifestations. It also includes an explanation of SIRS or systemic inflammatory response syndrome and MODS or multiple organ dysfunction syndrome. Differentiate preload, afterload, and contractility and their clinical relevance
Differentiate the three clinical phases of shock
List the clinical manifestations of each phase of shock
